QUINN is a stunning replica of her sire, Camoflage BHAR! Camo has won several championships in both fleece and halter, in both appy and gray. He is a world fleece champion in multi, passing on fineness, staple length and beautiful architecture . Quinn’s dam, MTAR Sonic Shift’s Belle is a beautiful multi with lots of gray in her lineage. Belle’s shearer stated she has “One of the heaviest fleeces I have ever shorn. One of those times the fiber just keeps going and going!” We are excited to see how Quinn develops and does in the show ring... The judges, as well as the crowd are WOWED by her color! One judge described her as having a unique color, a harlequin merle, commenting on the uniformity and consistency of her fleece, translating to it’s soft handle. Quinn’s first breeding to Red Granite’s Man of Mystery produced a 2023 light harlequin male cria! She is bred to Xanadu One Singular Sensation for a sensational 2024 cria. Stay tuned…it should be a little rockstar! This little girl didn’t disappoint; she’s is a beautiful appaloosa! We didn’t have to think long or hard to repeat this breeding… Stay tuned for our next little sensational rock star! On September 21, 2025 Quinn had a 21.8 lb. beautiful white or beige female with one spot so far. She was born too late to cria shear, so it’ll be interesting to see if she develops more color by next shearing. Either way, with her color genetics, she fits perfectly in a multi program.

We are thrilled with the purchase of Maroon Bells from Xanadu Farms! Mari is another gorgeous Aristide daughter. He is no longer in the US. Her fleece is fine, dense and loaded with crimp. As a juvie she took 2nd place at the AOA National show, and 1st place in halter at the MoPaca show. She was bred to Color Champion, Snowmass Lover’s Spartan, and had an absolutely gorgeous fawn female (8/22). Her daughter, Spartan’s Zara, is one of our best! We can’t wait to get her in the show ring. Mari, bred to Dancing Elk’s One Moment in Time (for a summer 2023 cria) produced a gorgeous, bright, maroon-brown colored fleeced male cria. She was bred to El Comandante, aka Commander, for a 2024 cria. Unfortunately she reabsorbed this pregnancy. Maroon Bells, bred to Marquis for a summer 2025 cria, produced a fawn and white male cria with an interesting color pattern. He’ll be a fun one to watch.

I saw this beautiful girl and knew she had to come home with me! Bellissima’s fleece is bright, uniform and oh so fine... with a highly refined architecture! Bellissima’s 12 month histogram is 14.5 mic., 0.4% +30, 99.6 CF, and 56.9 MC. She has a stylish head and a perfect frame! Her sire, Barnabus is the gold standard for passing on these qualities to his crias! Bellissima had a 2022 male Snowmass Tezcatlipoca cria. She was then bred to Snowmass Oblivion son, Snowmass Dire Straights for a 2023 white male cria, Walk of Life. Bellissima, bred to Xanadu One Singular Sensation had a 2024 beautiful white female cria, sporting a dark fawn spot on her side. We kept Bellissima open for 2025 but plan on breeding her to Howling Hills Conspicuous, aka Spike, for a 2026 cria.

Paloma is a fourth generation solid roan! She is sturdy and upright, with excellent conformation! She has the dense, uniform and superfine fleece that Arturo puts on his offspring! Paloma’s fleece is not only superfine and uniform, but also bright with a high frequency crimp...an absolutely gorgeous fleece! We are thrilled with the opportunity to add this gorgeous girl to our foundation herd in Montana, where the cowboys, cowgirls and alpacas roan! Paloma’s 2021 cria is a beautiful female roan out of RR Touchstone. August 2024, she had a beautiful gray girl out of One Moment in Time. Paloma is bred to Sonic Shift for a Summer 2025 cria!

Modern Jane, aka Mod, is a beautiful, conformationally correct female with a solid frame and a bright, crimpy, spotless, lavender fleece. She has powerhouse genetics on both sides of her pedigree. Her sire is the one and only Annual’s Bea-2 Bomber. He has produced many top offspring who are producing top honors. His own list of banners is extensive. Mod’s dam, Audrey is a large, solid, conformationally correct female. Audrey’s sire is the well known full Accoyo, Michelangelo.He has dense, fine, high amplitude crimp and an incredibly even “peach colored” fawn fleece. He was skin biopsied by Dr. Norm Evans with a follicle density of an amazing 115 follicles/mm. (Post-calibration results were adjusted to 107 follicles/mm.) His S/P ratio was an astounding 13.28/1! These are still unheard of statistics. And he passes them on! Mod unfortunately lost her first cria, bred to Patron. She was then bred to Dancing Elk’s One Moment in Time for a 2023 cria. This pairing produced a beautiful tuxedo silver gray female, Victoire. She looks like her dam with the presence of her sire! We love her so much, we repeated this breeding for a 2024 cria. Mod had a gorgeous male cria on August 17th, a full sibling to Victoire in Time. So far she has stamped out stunning mini me’s when bred to One Moment in Time. Both Mod and Mo have similar eye catching phenotypes and they’re passing it on to their offspring. Mod has been bred to Sonic Shift for a 2025 summer cria! We’re excited to see what this pairing will produce! Mod had a beautiful 16.2 lb gray (rose or silver?) male cria.

The alpaca, NPA Peruvian Senja was named after our daughter, Senja! Senja is also the name of a Norwegian island. With the purchase of NPA Peruvian Senja, we are thrilled to finally welcome the second Island girl into our family! Thank you Plateau Breeze Alpacas! NPA Peruvian Senja started her breeding career off in 2019 with solid fiber stats of 15.8 microns, SD 3.8, CV 24.4. Senja isn’t only the stunning daughter of the incredibly bright and dense NPA Peruvian Orion Suave, but also the granddaughter of S&L Peruvian Bandito, son of the famous Black Epic. Senja is sure to throw stunning crias considering her genetics that blend Black Magic, 5Peruvian Klassique Grey, CPeruvian Silvino with Peruvian Hemingway, Pperunian Caligula and 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan. She is bred to Snowmass Defiance son, Snow Diamond Pandemonium for a fall 2022 cria. Senja’s sire, NPA Peruvian Orion Suave, has a gorgeous head and a solid conformation! His fleece is bright and soft, with an excellent staple length and crimp to the tips. He has a high amplitude, medium frequency crimp style and great density in relation to his fineness. His dam, Sara, is a Pulitzer daughter and a Titan granddaughter. His sire is the well known DDF Rico Suave, who has passed. Senja is bred to Snowmass Defiance son, Snow Diamond Pandemonium for a Fall 2022 cria. Pandemonium is a fine-fibered gorgeous herd sire. His 2019 fiber stats are, AFD 13.3, SD 2.9, CV 21.7 and >30 0.3. At the ABR Fall Fest Fleece Show, AOA judge, Diana Timmerman noted his nice crimp amplitude, excellent hand and high degree of brightness and staple length! Senja’s wonderful fleece and color attributes, combined with Pandemonium’s gorgeous presence and fineness should produce a genetic powerhouse, and spectacular 2022 cria! Senja had a stunning cria, PBR Pandemonium’s Arctic Chaos, aka “Ace”, during one of our cold spells in November 2022. Bred to Xanadu One Singular Sensation, Senja produced a gorgeous girl (Summer 2025) She looks like mom, but a little darker, and she has one small black spot! She has been bred to Illini’s Morpheus for a Fall 2025 cria! This cria should be a spectacular little wildcard! Her cria was a little early and HE is a handsome harlequin appaloosa with some markings reminiscent of his grandsire, Confetti!

Her sire is multi champion fawn, PVA King of Diamonds, known for his exquisite, fine, bright fleece. He has passed his fleece qualities on to his offspring. Cheetah is a beautiful, solidly built female with a lovely head style, great conformation and rare harlequin genetics! She has bright fleece, a nice crimp style, a soft handle, and a long staple length. In short, she is a gorgeous harlequin female, displaying a high propensity to deliver beautiful harlequin offspring! We can’t wait to see what she’ll produce for us! Pandemonium’s 2029 fiber stats were AFD:13.3, SD:2.9, CV: 21.7 and >30:0.3. At the ABR Fall Fest Fleece Show, judge Diana Timmerman noted his nice crimp amplitude, excellent hand, high degree of brightness and staple length. Pandemonium’s dam, Matrix Perfection, exhibits lasting fineness, and Pandemonium himself has 4 EPD traits in the top 1%. These traits should be passed on to his offspring. Harmony’s dam, S More Spots has a kind and gentle disposition and come from champion bloodlines. Her strengths are her superior staple length, at 5 inches, and her parents production of superior offspring. Harmony’s fleece is spotted, dense, and because of her sire, it’s fine, delicate and crimpy! She also presents a true to alpaca phenotype- she’s typey. With her sire’s fineness and her dam’s rare appaloosa bloodlines, this girl is irreplaceable! We’re looking forward to seeing what she’ll contribute to our breeding program! Harmony will be bred to Xanadu One Singular Sensation for a 2025 cria. Sensation did it again! He let the spots come through! They produced a, cute as a button, female APPALOOSA !

Thank you Renaissance Ridge for allowing a group of your girls to make the move to Montana. RR Adelina is one of the girls we’re thrilled to welcome into our herd. Gun’s A’Blazin daughters are a precious commodity and we are fortunate to have one in our foundation herd. Adelina, out of RR Koyuki, brings some strong genetics, on both sides, into the mix. She is beautifully conformed, with excellent balance and proportions. Her fleece is notable for length, fineness and beautifully organized bundles. She was bred to multiple champion Dizzy Gillespie and had a beautiful female copy of him. This breeding was repeated and she just has a stunning roan male on 11/17/2022, RR Dizzy’s Groovin’. Groovin was a 2x RC in halter and a CC in walking fleece for his 23/24 show season!!! Adelina, bred to Snowmass Majestic Reflection for a summer 2025 cria, had gorgeous, dense male, with wrinkles on his neck!

PBR Promise’s in the Dark is an incredible medium fawn female that we are thrilled to bring into our breeding program. Her fleece is fine, dense, bright, and has an excellent, advanced crimp. Promise’s sire, R Creek’s Legendary Eclipse, a RCC (Futurity 2016) and CC (MAPACA 2016), is a true black male with the fleece characteristics of a light animal. He comes from a rare pedigree, with well-known names such as Snowmass Hemingway XX, Snowmass Arctic Blue, Snowmass Quechua, and Snowmass Matrix. NPA Regina, Promise’s dam, is no slouch herself. With her well-known grandsire, SA Peruvian Black Epic on the top of her pedigree and grandsire RC NWA LTD Flash on the bottom, she brings crimp, fineness and brightness to the table. We are excited to see what Promise’s will do for our appy/harley herd! Promises has been bred to the CC appaloosa, Cygnus for a winter (yikes!) cria! We are excited to see what this pairing will produce for us…and so grateful we have a heated stall!

Spot Snowflake has an outstanding, beautiful harlequin appaloosa fleece, exhibiting density, nice crimp and a soft hand. Her color is absolutely stunning, with dark gray facial markings and a soft lavender gray blanket. Phenotypically she is “spot on”! She is an Absolut Straight Up daughter, with spectacular bloodlines from Accoyo Yupanqui, Peruvian Black Magic,Black Epic, Absolut is an incredible Harlequin Appaloosa out of a silver gray appy dam and a 5x Champion true black sire. Absolut’s color runs from bay black to silver gray, tipping in light silver. His blanket is solid, yet he Carrie’s his Appaloosa spotting in all the right places. He has a bright maroon patched underbelly and leopard spotting on his face. His pedigree is exceptional, with champion producing genetics. He is an Black Epic grandson and 4Peruvian Black Magic great/grandson. His dam is a Peruvian Bueno G173 granddaughter. He has a top genetic lineup: ACCOYO ROYAL FAWN, PERUVIAN BUENO, 5PERUVIAN EL CID, 4PERUVIAN BLACK MAGIC, NGG LIONEL, SA BLACK EPIC. Snow’s dam, Last Frontier’s Orianne, is the daughter of a stunning full Accoyo out of Augusto, Peruvian Accolade. Accolade is a large male, who carries his sire’s same consistent, fine, dense and beautiful crimp styled fleece and sturdy phenotype and eye catching presence. We can’t wait to see what Snow will bring to our program. She had a fading fawn, and may gray out, male in 2024, bred to PJA Laredo. Snow is bred to MTAR Sonic Shift’s Kaboom for a 2025 Summer cria. She had a very nice white (we suspect stealth gray or harlequin) girl.

Caprice, is one of the 4 full Barnabus/Presidio sisters who have been the cornerstone of Xanadu’s breeding program. Fleur’s maiden breeding to Snowmass Lover’s Spartan produced a lovely white male. Fleur is bred to Howling Hills Conspicuous for a Summer 2025 cria!! Stay tuned… Fleur and Spike had a handsome APPALOOSA male. We’re looking forward to bringing him to the shows when he’s ready!

This exquisite female embodies everything an elite seed stock alpaca breeder should have within their foundation herd. This girl comes at the top of her cria class in size and fleece characteristics. RGR Firecracker by Val D Lsere is an easygoing female, who at birth weighed 18.9 lbs., and at 11 months of age weighed 128.7 lbs. A big, sturdy girl indeed, with a big, bright future ahead of her! She has a very bright, dense and fine fleece, at 17.5 micron and a curvature of 56.1 as a juvenile. This fleece style is representative of her ancestors. She will, no doubt, pass this on to her offspring. We have chosen CCNF Legionnaire for Firecracker’s maiden breeding. We’re excited to see what this pairing will produce for us! It produced a gorgeous dark fawn male. Firecracker was bred to Xanadu One Singular Sensation for her second breeding. This pairing produced a 23 lb robust, gorgeous white male! EEF Frieda is a large, nicely built female with a beautiful phenotype, a perfect conformation and great genetics. Frieda’s sire, FRAL’S Matteo, is a handsome, conformationally correct pinto-patterned male with a nice substance of bone and good coverage. Frieda’s dam, Empress Matilda, “Tilly”, is a beautiful tri-colored female, displaying excellent fleece characteristics. She has an exquisite fineness and soft handle. Judges have commented on her nice sized, solid, square frame and impressive fleece qualities. Her first place ribbons were well deserved. We wish there would’ve been enough competition for a championship. We have chosen 4-Sight’s Out-A-Sight for Frieda’s maiden breeding. We’re excited to see what this pairing will produce! Unfortunately Frieda lost her first cria right after he was born. We have chosen Howling Hills Conspicuous for Frieda’s second breeding. We would like to Thank Eagle Eye Farm for allowing this gorgeous girl to make the move to the MTAR herd in Montana!

Tic Tac and Privateer did it again! They produced two beautiful harlequins, two years in a row. This is the third Appaloosa in a row for Tic Tac. All three were out of a non-appaloosa gene carrier, solid colored males. It is highly likely with this pedigree and production thus far, Tic Tac is homozygous for the appaloosa allele(s). Tic Tac’s color genotype is Ee a2a3 and her sire, Privateer’s color genotype is ee a2a2. This pairing was apt to create a beautifully expressed appaloosa, as this offspring Carrie’s two black alleles- one from each parent. It is highly likely she will darken over time as is typical of harlequin appaloosas. Rare Gem Hat Trick,, is a beautiful, large-boned but feminine, solid and straight (from the get go) girl. She has a gorgeous head with full coverage. Her champion sire, FTAF’s Privateer is the producer of multiple champion offspring. He is an elite fleeced, sturdy, handsome male, known for stamping his beautiful head style and fine fleece on his offspring, and he didn’t fall short with Hat Trick. Hat Trick was bred to Rare Gem Zagato’s Cray-Z for her maiden breeding. This pairing produced a male (2025) who looks just like his mama! A HARLEQUIN APPALOOSA!!! Spartan’s Zara is a gorgeous female with top genetics on both sides! She is a half sibling to Xanadu Picotani, an AOA light supreme champion and 4x JC winner! Zara’s sire, Snowmass Lover’s Spartan carries a remarkable degree of fineness, uniformity and architecture. His dam’s line features a solid color outcross of true black and gray champions, including Crystal Spartan. Her dam, Maroon Bells, an Aristide daughter, has fine, crimpy, dense fleece characteristics. Zara is carrying a beautiful, fine, crimpy, dense fleece, with full coverage from head to toe on a correct frame. We’re excited to add this exceptional girl to our foundation! We have chosen Xanadu’s Alchemist for Zara’s 2024 maiden breeding and are excited to see what this pairing will produce! Zara had a gorgeous 13.8 lb boy on 7/29/25. He has a very unique color/ color pattern, which could be coming from either side of his lineage.

MTAR Triple Threat’s Josephine B is a beautiful female with correct conformation, a correct bite, strong bone structure, good size and great capacity! And to top it off, she has superstar genetics! Josie B’s sire, the one and only Rosehaven’s Triple Threat, is a 4x JC and 23x banner winner! Her dam, RR Belladonna, a CC and RC, is a 10x champion RR Gun’s Kit Carson daughter! With these genetics, we are excited to add Josie to our foundation herd, and are awaiting the next generation. We plan on breeding her to CC Crescent Moon’s Kemmaus for a 2025 cria! Stay tuned…. Josie had a 13 lb beautiful boy. I absolutely love his coloring and loooong eyelashes! He’s an absolute sweetheart and we’re looking forward to watching him grow.

MTAR Candyman’s Chocolate Sunrise, or Schoko, as we call her, is a very nice, true to type roan female with stellar genetics on both sides. Schoko’s sire needs no introductions. He is the one and only MFI Candyman! Candyman has sired many champions, including KVR’s Peruvian True Eye Candy, aka “Ike”. He passes on his uniformity, brightness, as well as high frequency, high amplitude crimp style. His density level is incredible considering the low micron he possesses. Her dam, RR Sarah Vaughn, is an outstanding DS roan champion female! According to Ian Watt, she has “an elite density for a gray alpaca, supported by stunning uniformity in both primary and secondary populations. This is an exceptional alpaca.” Schoko is a well grown, conformationally correct female. The judges have commented on her well organized fleece, nice staple length and exceptional brightness! Chocolate Sunrise is Candyman’s last offspring.

Bellagio’s Gianna is a beautiful , typey, conformationally correct female with fine, bright fleece. Gianna’s sire, PBR Divine World’s Bellagio is a 2020 AOA National champion and a 2021 PAOBA fleece show champion. He has superior genetics and excellent fleece traits, packed in an outstanding conformation and phenotype! Her dam, TAG Monday is a typey female from champion parents, with fine, dense fleece, sporting a beautiful, high frequency crimp style. She has a solid, well balanced frame and is a wonderful mom. We’re excited to add Gianna to our appaloosa program! She will be bred to Spike when she’s ready!

MTAR Ronja D by Camoflage is excellent in conformation with solid bone and bite, very much like her dam. Her pedigree is stacked on both sides with champion bloodlines. Ronja’s sire, Camoflage by BHAR has won several championships in both fleece and halter, in both appy and gray. He was a world fleece champion in multi, passing on fineness, staple length and beautiful architecture! He has retired from breeding. Ronja’s dam, 4-Sight’s Monique is an elegant girl with rose coloring in her top knot and on her neck, with dark points. She has incredible staple length and bright, crimpy bundles of fleece. We have chosen Pine Valley’s American Patriot for Ronja’s maiden breeding. Stay tuned…

MTAR Pinktessa by Man of Mystery, aka Tessa, is a beautiful harlequin appaloosa. She is well grown, conformationally correct with a good substance of bone and great genetics! Her appaloosa genetics run deep on both sides of her pedigree. Tessa’s harlequin appaloosa gene can be traced back to Legend Maker, Black Epic and Coffee Pot Elke, a few of the most prolific harlequin appaloosa producers in the U.S. Tessa’s sire is the one and only Red Granites Man of Mystery, formerly known as Pinktus, who now resides at Willowwind Alpaca Farm in Colorado. Man’s spots are subtle and his color is very light, a stunning lavender rose gray. “At 127.2 follicles/square mm density, Pinktus is the densest alpaca biopsied by Ian Watt in the U.S. With a primary SD of 2.5 and secondary SD of 2.2, and fiber population differential of 3.5, he is also the most uniform.” Tessa’s dam, Willowwind’ Pixie Cheetah is no slouch herself! She is a beautiful, solidly built female, with a lovely head style and RARE HARLEQUIN GENETICS. Cheetah’s sire is multi champion, PVA King of Diamonds, who passed his champion winning fleece attributes on to his offspring! Tessa is bred to Mirakel for a 2026 cria! Apache’s Punkin’ Pie is a large framed girl, with appaloosa and harlequin genes on both sides of her pedigree. Her sire needs little to no introduction. Apache Gentleman is a beautifully expressed harlequin appaloosa who has an expression rate of 93% in his offspring! Punkin Pie’s dam, Krispy Kream, carries the impressive, quality bloodlines of her grand sires, Black Epic and PPPeruvian Grand Master. She has a beautiful conformation, a straight top line, an upright, proud carriage, straight legs, strong bone and amazing fleece coverage. Punkin’ Pie was a 2020 Thanksgiving baby and her first cria, an appaloosa female, was a 2022 Thanksgiving baby on day 342. Punkin’ Pie was a very attentive and maternal first time mom, with plenty of milk. Because of the “stacked” appaloosa and harlequin genetics on both sides of her pedigree, she may be very close to being homozygous, therefore more likely to produce appaloosas and harlequins even when bred to solid herd sires. Dancing Elk’s Mystery Unveiled, aka Dotty, is a beautiful, stunning, statuesque harlequin female. Color and color patterns can be found deep in her genetics, top and bottom. Dotty’s sire is none other than Red Granite’s Man of Mystery. She is half sibling to our harlequin appaloosas, Conspicuous (aka Spike), Baptiste, and Pinktessa (aka Tessa). Red Granite’s Man of Mystery is a beautiful representation of a harlequin, and at 127.2 follicles/square mm in density, he is the densest alpaca tested by Ian Watt in the US… and to quote Ian Watt, “Overall, this is the best alpaca I’ve tested in the US.” Dotty’s dam, Dancing Elk’s Nina is a statuesque, conformationally correct female. She is a Snowmass Tezcatlipoca daughter. Her fleece is dense, with tight bundling, brightness and coverage galore! Our Thanks go out to Dancing Elk Alpaca’s for allowing this beautiful female to join the Mule Train herd! We plan on breeding Dotty to the elite powerhouse, Stillmeadow Farm Blizzard for her maiden breeding. This pairing should create a little appaloosa rockstar!

Contessa’s sire, Snowmass Conjurer is a handsome male, ranking at less than 1% in 3 and less than 5% in 2 of the top 5 EPD categories. He wasn’t shown. Conjurer’s dam, Accoyo America Kore, was a 2014 Color Champion. She still ranks 1% or less in the top 5 EPD categories. Contessa’s dam, Jennie’s Luxury, is a Snowmass Swordmaker daughters and Defiance granddaughter. He carries strong color genetics through his dam, Xanadu Althea, a full sister to Xanadu Aristide, a top producer of grays, blacks and APPALOOSAS! Aristide was the sire to the 2022 Australian National Supreme Champion. Hyalite’s dam, MTAR Quintessential by Camo, daughter to Camoflage BHAR. Camo, a Billabong son, has won several CC’s in both gray and APPALOOSA classes. Quinn’s color is much like that of her sire’s, unique “merle” HARLEQUIN APPALOOSA. Hyalite will be making a trip to Aspen Alpaca Company for her maiden breeding to Ironhide Vapor. -Hyalite’s color genotype is EeAa2, non-grey ~The Hyalite peak is part of the Northern Gallatin Range, outside of Bozeman, MT, which takes 8-9 hours to hike round trip. Xanadu Glitterati is a paternal sister to CC and JC, Xanadu Picotani. She is a beautiful, uniquely colored female on a solid frame. Glitterati’s sire, Snowmass Lover’s Spartan, known for his fleece density and architecture, continues to surprise with his color genetic range. Lover’s Spartan is a “uniformity expert”, receiving these genetics from his sire, Lover’s Legacy. Spartan now resides at Ariya in Canada, so these genetics will become rarer here in the U.S. Glitterati’s dam, Xanadu Allure, is a Running Late daughter and Barnabus granddaughter. Glitterati started as a medium fawn with msg spots on her hip and shoulder. She’s now turning a solid pewter grey. We think she has also picked up some unique color genetics from Running Late. Color Genotype: EeAA We are excited to welcome her into our multi/harlequin/appaloosa/pattered herd!

Xanadu Nefret is an exceptional female, bursting with fleece! She carries nearly 6” of fleece, after her cria shear, with excellent fineness and uniformity across the blanket. She is a solid female, with a perfect frame and gorgeous head! Nefret’s sire is non other than Xanadu Alchemist. He has exceptional fleece brightness and density. Add this to a solid frame and great head and you have the perfect package. His color genotype is eea1a2. This fully dilute a1a2 is rare. Her dam, SM Magical Moon Shadow is a beautiful SM Windsong’s Cuahetemoc daughter and SM Elite Symphony granddaughter. Nefret’s color genotype is eeAa1

We are super excited about Arriba Evita and her first female Appaloosa female! CC and RC Arriba Evita has it all ! She is sporting a gorgeous fleece, with great stats on her EPD’s and histograms to back it up, and a pleasing phenotype to top it off! Evita is a combination of some of Arriba Linea’s best genetics. Arriba Evita’s sire is 2 x CC Arriba Coty. He has that “look at me” phenotype and the fiber qualities to go along with it. Just like his sire, he was beige on the outside, but turning grey on the inside… and is currently almost white! His color genotype is eeAa/ PSW CF CH. (common progeny base coat colors: W PSW F CF BB CH B = he can produce all colors) Evita has an interesting color, just like other Coty offspring. She had a unique pattern at birth, expressing some fawn splotches on white and beige, and then fading completely to white. She should be able to produce all colors, like her sire. Evita’s dam, CC and JC SUMAQ Valley’s Ember, is a very nice looking female and top producer for Arriba Linea. She is fine, dense and crimpy, and she comes from top genetics: CPeruvian Arctic, CPeruvian Ultima, Viracocha, Coyo Destini, and Jolimont Peruvian Tila (dam to Telowana’s Sundance). Evita is proving to be a wonderful mom to her first cria, an Appaloosa female! She will be bred to Arriba DeMarco, for another colorfully patterned 2026 cria, before moving to Montana! WOW! This girl exudes eloquence! Meet Arriba Eloquent. She is a gorgeous representation of the melding of some of the best Arriba-Linea genetics. This little superstar has a bright future ahead of her. She has bright, beautiful fleece, holds herself upright, is conformationally correct, loves the camera with her “look at me” attitude… and is an APPALOOSA to boot! We couldn’t ask for more! Eloquent’s sire, KKA’s Sigmund Freud, is a harlequin Appaloosa, out of two multiple champions. He is a solidly built male, with excellent fleece qualities! He passes these qualities on to his offspring. Eloquent’s dam, grand champion (Canada) Arriba Evita, is a combination of some of Arriba Linea’s best genetics. Her parents, both champions, Arriba Coty and Arriba Ember are two of Arriba Linea’s best producers. Evita had an interesting color pattern when she was born. She had splotches of fawn, which faded to white as she got older. We are excited to see how Eloquent develops and how her exceptional Canadian genetics can influence our multi herd. He passes on his compact, square and robust phenotype, his fleece qualities and gorgeous head style and coverage to all his youngsters, including Primerose! Primrose’s dam, PBR Definitely N Perfect Harmony comes from a rare line of APPALOOSAS on her dam’s side. Primrose’s sire is Harmony’s first cria, and we couldn’t be more pleased with her first little girl! We will be keeping Primrose in our foundation herd, but stay tuned for her future kids.
