We are thrilled to add a few Big Hat Ranch girls to our herd! Thank you Cass Galloway and Old Dog! Presley has scrumptious, fine and uniform fiber! Her genetics are nothing to scoff at either! Check out her histogram! And who knows...maybe she’ll be a multi next year. Unfortunately Presley was born too late to cria shear for her first show season, but she has developed into an absolutely gorgeous multi, and we couldn’t be happier! She will definitely be one of our main dams in our multi program! Bred to 8 X CC, Mile High Peruvian Toulouse-Lautrec, Presley had a gorgeous black male cria with a splash of white in his top knot (like his dam) and on his chin. Presley had a gorgeous white Sonic Shift’s Kaboom daughter this summer (2024). We’ll see what colors come through as she grows. Presley, bred to Spike, unfortunately lost her female cria in September 2025.

RR Calliope is a fine, dense, gorgeous girl, destined for the show ring! She is touted as one of Renaissance Ridge’s best crias in 2022! She is an amazing young female with outstanding proven genetics to back her up! Her sire, Dizzy Gillespie is a gorgeous male with beautiful fleece and perfect conformation. He was the 2017 AOA National fleece blue ribbon winner in both rose and silver gray combined. Calliope’s dam, RR Verona, also a blue ribbon winner, has it all; conformation, fiber and incredible density! Thank you Julie Alvarado from Renaissance Ridge for allowing Calliope to move to Montana, where the cowboys, cowgirls and alpacas roan!

RR Starry is an amazingly dense, bright and fine gorgeous girl, with the best genetics behind her! Starry’s sire, RR Cezanne, who’s dam was an appaloosa, RR Abigail Adam’s, was a purple ribbon winner at just 8 months old. The judge was blown away by his fineness and supreme density. Her dam, Marquessa is carrying extraordinary fleece with excellent density, staple length, uniformity and brightness. Marquessa’s and Cezanne’s first born cria certainly didn’t disappoint! Starry is destined for the show ring. We have decided to breed Starry to Picotani for her maiden breeding! We’re excited to see what this pairing will produce. Unfortunately, Starry’s first cria was breech and didn’t make it. Thank you Julie Alvarado from Renaissance Ridge for allowing Starry to move to Montana, where the cowboys, cowgirls and alpaca roan!

PBR Sensational Demitasse’s pedigree is second to none, boasting the likes of Jericho Dakotia, Hannahruh, and Peruvian Cactus Jack. Demitasse has black eyeliner, toenails and gums. Her base also points to harlequin. It will be exciting to see her first shearing! Demitasse’s sire, Whole Latte Love is a handsome, well built, conformationally correct, phenotypically flawless herdsire with coverage from head to toe. He was born with calico harlequin/Appaloosa markings, and grayed out as he matured. He has the unique combination of the Aussie Rockford and Polaris (Hemingway son) lines, displaying nice density and staple length. Demitasse’s dam, MFI pins and Needles, is the medium fawn daughter of MFI Peruvian Cactus Jack, who sold in the 2007 Breeder’s Choice auction for $150,000. Like her sire, Demitasse has outstanding, advanced fawn fleece, displaying high amplitude and high frequency in her crimp style, and an excellent phenotype. She consistently passes her fine qualities on to her offspring. PBR Divine World’s Bellagio won an AOA National Championship in 2020 at 8 months of age. He won another Championship in 2021 at PAOBA. We are excited to bring these genetics and outstanding qualities into our program! Demi, one of Latte’s last cria in the US is a harlequin! We couldn’t be happier with this outcome!
